Not book reviews. Sometimes I read a book and it makes me want to write something, maybe even not exactly about the book.
For example, the best game review I ever read started with "Halo II is Halo with more special effects" and then described the hype, the celebrity-studded launch parties, the interviews with the voice actors ... . And the last sentence is something like "Halo II is Halo with more special effects. And that's fine". That gave me a better feeling for Halo II (probably -- I've never played either) than a "real" review would have. And who knows, maybe these are better book reviews than just reviewing the book.
